How to understand when to breastfeed the baby?

The mother does not even know when the baby is hungry. You can understand this thing that when your baby is hungry, he shakes his head and opens his mouth again and again. In addition, he can suck his fingers or anything he holds in his hand and sticks out his tongue. As soon as you feel these signs, breastfeed your baby immediately.

How to help the baby in breastfeeding

It is very important to know whether your baby is comfortable drinking milk. Always sit in such a position that the baby does not have trouble in feeding. Stay in such a position that your baby doesn't have to turn his head to feed. Make sure that the baby's head is tilted slightly back and against your breast. But don't stay in this position. What should be the feeding period?

What is the treatment for nipple pain and swelling

Apart from this, you can also apply a light warm tea bag or cotton cloth to the nipple by squeezing it in warm water. This will reduce your nipple pain and swelling.

Store breast milk

Sometimes it may happen that the baby is feeling hungry but you are not with him, in which case stored breast milk can be used. You can store breast milk anywhere in the fridge or freezer. You can also keep it in this room for some time. Avoid using thin disposable, feeding bottle liners and plastic sandwich bags to store breast milk.
